Watermelon Cleanse Cleansing Oil

Watermelon seed oil- A skincare powerhouse, it penetrates deeply to cleanse and remove impurities, dirt, congestion, makeup as well as providing intense hydration.

A technique that originates in Japan and Korea, involves using two different types of cleansers, one right after the other, the first an oil based cleanser then a water based cleanser.

An oil-based cleanser is designed to remove oil-based impurities, including makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and pollution.

By removing the impurities first, the second water-based cleanser can really work its way into the skin. Not only is a double cleanse meant to give a more thorough cleanse, but it can also revitalise dull skin and allow other skincare products to penetrate more effectively.

OCM - the oil cleansing method is where you use oil as your facial cleanser leaving your skin moisturised, supple, and glowing!

“Like dissolves like”. The best way to nurture your skin’s natural oils is to use other oils that are similar in composition to cleanse it.

Using this method, our cleansing oil will help dissolve impurities, remove them, and keep the outer most barrier intact and functioning properly. Skin that can function properly will be bright, clear, and glowing from within.

There are no harsh chemicals involved, no oil stripping, and no antibacterial agents that further disrupt the delicate balance of the skin. 

Watermelon Cleanse Cleansing Oil is a 100% natural cleanser that helps dissolve impurities, remove them, and keep the outermost barrier intact. When your skin operates smoothly, it radiates brightness, clarity and a natural glow.

It boasts a blend of grapeseed and camellia seed oil, combined with organic jojoba and organic rosehip oil, rich in antioxidants for toning and tightening while effectively lifting away makeup and impurities.

Use at night.  Apply 2-3 drops of oil into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and then, while your face is still dry, gently massage the oil into your skin in a circular motion.  

Massage your skin for at least 2 minutes to really allow the oil to do its magic.  Then wet your hands and keep massaging – this will transform the oil into a milky substance.  Now rinse the washcloth in hand hot water and wipe away all traces of cleanser using circular movements to stimulate the skin and lift away impurities.   

Keep your skin damp and now cleanse with your usual water-based cleanser in exactly the same way as before.·      

This cleansing method can stimulate an initial skin purge because of the exfoliation and stimulus of your skin.

·Keep in mind that it may take 2-3 weeks for your skin to fully adjust to this new method of cleansing, as your complexion may need some time to fully detoxify from any build-up that may be in your pores up until now.
